Subpart G refers to the O.S.H.A safety standards regarding high visibility and what colors should be used in construction signage. Considering "high vis" as a formal quality in painting, I decided to use Minium (red lead) for its intense chromatic properties. Minium was widely used in the Middle Ages but is no longer in use today. It was mainly used for decorating manuscripts.
