There is no paper in this piece. Everything is painted with oil paint including the pencil lines. The aluminum panel escapes the edges of the wooden cradle to mimic paper.

Anthony’s current body of work explores the similarities between the early renaissance, specifically Giotto, and contemporary construction road signage. Using techniques and materials from the 1300’s, he rethinks the language of signage and asks the question “what would Giotto do?”
