Anthony’s current body of work explores the similarities between the early renaissance, specifically Giotto, and contemporary construction road signage. Using techniques and materials from the 1300’s, he rethinks the language of signage and asks the question “what would Giotto do?”
There is no wood in this painting. Everything is painted with oil paint, including the wood grain, pencil lines, and dirt.
